Hello and thanks for visiting! Welcome to my blog. I hail from Littleton, Colorado where I’ve lived since January 2000. Born and raised in the flatlands of Illinois, I fell in love with Colorado during a childhood trip to the mountains. It only took another 25 years or so to move here and make it my home! Colorado truly is home for me now. It’s where I’ve raised my three boys (now young men), built and sold a business, and home to my girlfriend Tanya and her family. What a great place to call base camp!
In April 2020, I decided to start this website to share some of my adventures. Over the years I’ve done the usual camping, hiking, and fishing around the state. Now I’ll be writing about finding trails, fishing holes, and exploring the US and beyond.
